Casual Exam Invigilators (£12.26 per hour)

Are you looking for your next challenge?  Would you like to join a school where relationships are key and contribute to an caring and nurturing environment where young people flourish under the guidance of a dedicated and professional team of staff?

We are looking to appoint casual Exam Invigilators to commence after Easter.  You will be employed on a casual ad hoc basis during the examination periods under the guidance of the Examination Officer and the Data & Examinations Manager.  Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, although not essential.

Assistant Director of Mathematics

TLR 1b £12,040 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Director of Mathematics who will work closely with the Director of Mathematics to drive excellence in teaching and learning, support curriculum development and inspire both staff and students to achieve outstanding outcomes. You will play a key role in fostering collaboration across the department and ensuring the highest standards of academic achievement. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mathematics teacher with strong leadership skills to make a lasting impact in our school.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Contribute to the formulation of the Mathematics area aims and policies under the leadership of the Director of Mathematics and ensure that they are translated into action in the classroom
  • Secure continuous improvement leading to transformation in the teaching and learning of students, raising standards and producing the highest levels of student achievement.
  • To be accountable for leading, managing and developing the Key Stage Co-ordinators
  • To effectively lead, manage and deploy teaching/support staff and financial resources within the department in collaboration with the Director of Mathematics

We are seeking to appoint a Temporary Events and Marketing Officer to cover a maternity leave.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination of all school events, under the guidance of the HR Manager & Assistant to the Headteacher and the Leadership Support Manager.  You will establish links with the local community, parents and staff to develop the Community Liaison group and co-ordinate events within school.  The successful candidate will establish, organise and maintain all methods of marketing linked to school events.  You will ensure that The Polesworth School ethos is very well publicised and shared throughout the school.
