School Business Manager

37 hours per week full year working

Grade P points 39 to 41 (£42,821 to £44,863)

An exciting opportunity has become available at our outstanding school. Skills, Interests and Qualities

As a School Business Manager you will need to be:

  • highly adaptable,
  • analytical and problem-solving
  • positive and possess a ‘can-do’ approach
  • be confident and organised at all times,
  • patient, flexible, creative with a good sense of humour.

You will need to demonstrate that you have:

  • experience of working within a school environment,
  • have experience in Finance, working with a large budget
  • the ability to build good relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers,
  • strong ICT skills and a good command of English and Maths.
  • the ability to work as part of a team,
  • a passion for educating young children,

Deputy Headteacher

The post may suit colleagues currently in Deputy Headteacher posts looking for experience of working in a large school with an extensive sixth form, or colleagues looking for promotion from Assistant Headteacher level.

Reporting to the Headteacher, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the school strategic leadership team, which will be comprised of 3 Deputy Headteachers, 5 Assistant Headteachers, the School Business Manager and the HR Manager.
